ABOUT ME

I'm a video journalist, editor and producer. With a focus on engaging, data-driven stories; I'm well-versed in all aspects of the production process and am passionate about making complex topics and systemic problems understandable to a wide audience.

At the University of Southern California I double majored in Media Arts and Broadcast Journalism: programs which pushed me to tell stories in powerful new ways. Currently, I work as a video journalist at the Wall Street Journal, producing videos and telling stories on a wide range of topics, from the high-profile criminal trial of Elizabeth Holmes, the far reaching environmental and economic consequences of Utah's shrinking Great Salt Laje. Previously I worked as a Digital Video Producer on the NBC Bay Area innovation team where I edit a daily news show and produce original videos on a range of topics.  I've covered stories such as the 2020 California wildfire season, the process behind creating the Covid-19 vaccine and the 2020 presidential election. I'm skilled at creating quick turn around pieces on a day-of deadline as well as longer-form "explainer" videos with intricate motion graphics.  Ultimately, I want my work to help audiences understand the inner-workings of complex issues as well as the human stories that lie behind them.

With more than four years experience editing and producing videos, I bring a unique skill-set to teams with my background in a wide array of media tools and knack for creating and executing original ideas. Please feel free to look through my portfolio in the pages above and view some of my most recent work.

I'm always looking for new opportunities to improve my creative skill-sets and continue to learn. If you have any business inquires or are interested in working with me, please contact me through the form below.
